A poem. It started with a dis I didn't know it would come to this Deafening silence, emotions all round Out of sight, yet around Heart beats, without a sound Destiny, like we're bound Thought, all along What she did was wrong Words in the song Continue for how long? Tried to befriend, she did attempt Pushed her aside, full of contempt Tears lost, all this time Three years, down the line Made up, it's all fine Is it? They ask Why the sudden change of heart? They bet, two months before it falls apart Like in darkness, a shadow cast So much history, so much past It 'll soon be over, it'll be fast We will not last We'll lose a few friends in this bout Don't want to be consumed with doubt Need a reply, I need a shout Want this to be the beginning, not the end Spoken of, very unkindly, all I do is defend See trouble ahead, just around the bend Want to know, why you're my friend?
