There are only five days left until Americans pick their new president. Over 16.5 million voters have already cast early ballots all across the US. According to a Washington Post survey 59% of these votes are in favor of Senator Barack Obama.

With a mad dash to the end of the race, Senator Obama is leading by double digits in many of the recent national polls.

This evening, in a show of his financial muscle, Senator Barack Obama addressed his country in 30-minute commercial spots bought on seven television stations that might have cost close to $5 milion dollars.

I have never been a subscriber to the great man of history theory, but what an incredible individual this one!!
Whichever way this election goes, he has sown a seed in American civic and political life that can only grow.
