al Shaabab! What a pity! They can only be described as a disgrace to society. They are a terrorist organization that have ties to al Qaida.

The carnage and suffering that they have caused the local populace in southern Somalia is beyond what words can describe: there have been cases of amputation, suicide attacks, beheading, stoning to death of innocent women, kidnappings and even some cases of robbery have been linked to this despots.
While I don't claim to be an Islamic scholar, but any sensible mind would know that al Shabaab has tarnished Islam and it's honourable values. No one in their clear mind can justify this unjustly crime that has been perpetrated by these thugs.

These savages are ruthless and have gained expediency amidst all the chaos that has engulfed the region for the past two decades. They have taken advantage of the situation by instilling fear and wrecking havoc, all in the name of Islam.

My Somali brothers and sisters or Muslims for that matter should all come together with one unified voice in total denounciation for this thuggery. It is shameful and unethical for us to stare with a blind eye to this savages who are hijacking and tormenting the plight of a country. It's our duty and obligation to give a voice to the victims who are horrified beyond their wildest imagination. In our silence, we are as guilty as this buffoons if we think for a second that it doesn't affect us.

How can we let this carnage and horrific ordeals continue under the umbrella of Islam? This is a cancer that will spread and put the security of the whole region in jeopardy. This ideology has to be combated and diminished before it spreads to a point of no return.
