The Four Agreements (Codes For Life).

1. Be impeccable with your word.

Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

2. Don’t take anything personally.

Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

3. Don’t make assumptions.

Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

 4. Always do your best.

Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.

-The Four Agreements (Codes For Life) Originally written By Don Miguel Ruiz.-

My Personal Note.

My last personal and very favorite one ( agreement) is, know that you are in control of your own reality. The thoughts you have on the inside always manifest and reflect on the outside by the kind of friends (company) you keep and how you experience your life on a daily. People will usually treat you based on how you treat yourself, so by loving yourself and being confident in what you do, others will respect who you are without a doubt.

Know who you are and dont try to be everyone and anyone else... just be yourself in all you do. We are all connected therefore show love and respect to others just as much as you expect the same from them.

My absolute FIX for everything in life... LAUGH at all times, life is never really that serious. I find all sorts of excuses and reasons to laugh in life and am willing to share some of the things that crack me the hell up.

I came across this very interesting photo and as hard as I tried not to crack up, half these people are just begging for people to have the same reaction am having at this second ( rolling on the floor). Ummm... just explaining the lengths to which I go through just to laugh in life, so for real!!

Why in the world is that Zebra headed straight for that poor man? You know Zebras are peaceful creatures ( herbivores and all), so you know that flying dude straight up did something that pissed the hell outta that Zebra for sure. The kofia dude mustve tried milking that poor animal by mistake or something... am just saying. You wanna know what's more hilarious? The fact that there is some guy happily snapping away and taking shots of his friend running for his dear life. The other taller guy partially covered in the bush doesnt seem fazed though. I cannot even begin to imagine how people get themselves into a situation like this one above (SMH).

So you see, I try to be a compassionate creature but when people pull stunts like the one  above, I absolutely cannot help it you see. No really, my point is life is already serious as it is just learn to laugh at all the situations and circumstances that crop up in your life. I do that all the time, sometimes things can go so wrong that I just burst out laughing in reaction to all the weird circumstances that it ends up just "righting" itself.

My next blog is so going to be about 'Little things that just do not make any sense part #2' as  a sequel to   Little Things That Do Not Make Sense To Me At All   because I feel that inspired.

My quote for the day;

"When we walk to the edge of all the light we have and take a step into the darkness of the unknown, we must believe that one of the two things will happen... There will be something solid for us to stand on OR we will be taught to fly."             -Patrick Overton.-

Until then...

Namaste
