Her Redemption Song PDF Print E-mail

Twice sung now twice written
mental slavery and deceptive supremacy Foward moving bodies and souls in progress
yet our spirits still in slavery chains
Our minds dire need for that Marley Redemption Song

None but ourselves can free our minds
words of a great prophet - a man truly before his time
Seeing generations walking free
free from those mental chains that scarred our wrists
Free yet Our minds in the hands of another man
a man taught to think himself superior to his neighbor
or hate himself with a perfect passion

A tragedy of a confused personality
continous search for a misplaced identity
pushed to savagery and despicable crowd psychology
Yearning for men to lead the way of self appreciation
awaiting prophesied prophets preaching self redemption
thirsty for them who will breath life
breath it to the decaying human condition
then TRAGEDY strikes....stikes once again
false messiahs and self proclaimed saviors
reincarnated zombies and recycled vampires
which florish in human misery
thrive on weak backs and empty plates of the popullation
devilishly jiving on the very divine life and blood
of innocent men, women and children
squeezing out the life of these precious three
by the coin, by the iron, by the flame

....yet they still pray

they still sing
they still struggle
they still hope
this innocent majority
this saintly souls

who perish for the folly of their shepherds
of these sheep clothed power thirsty wolves

....yet they still pray

they still sing
they still struggle
they still hope
they still yearn

for a redeaming savior
for a glorious messiah
for a soul preserver
for a spirit uplifter

for a peaceful prophet
for a freedom preacher
for a unity propagator
for a people-love leader

Till He comes
or till She comes
Till they come
these songs shall we sing
the...
sighs of our souls
cries of our hearts
moans of our spirits
blues in our minds

I immensely touched by your "song"! I wish I could sing, I would definitely turn this into a song. what most of us Kenyans forget is that despite our tribal "boundaries", we are all humans. please remember this fundamenatal element. change begins with one person. we can make a better Kenya. We can initiate brotherhood. God bless
