KANU's last wish - video PDF Print E-mail

KANU Chairman and Gatundu South MP, Uhuru Kenyatta demands that ODM-K accept corporate membership, that it sees itself not as a collective of individuals, but as a collective of parties.

ODM-K insiders took the announcement as yet another delaying tactic from the independence party, whose leader Uhuru is the only ODM-K candidate not to have handed in his nomination papers. As often happens with relation to KANU, the hand of former President Moi was seen in Uhuru's withdrawal and aggressive stance, even as party Secretary General William Ruto and other members pledged to stay in the Orange Democratic Movement.

Where does KANU go from here, and apart from Uhuru who may profit from not being associated with a party opposed to President Kibaki, does any KANU MP really stand a chance outside of the big coalitions?

Mr. Uhuru Kenyatta has done the unspeakable, most people really thought that this man has wisdom and smart enough to lead the country. He has proved that he has no capability to lead. Uhuru Kenyatta could have stayed in his party even after losing, that is how he could have proved to Kenyan how ideal his principles were.

By Kenyatta defecting and join hands with Kibaki is insanity, it cleary shows that Kibaki is better than him and if Kenyan had elected him(Uhuru) in 2002 instead of Kibaki, that would have been a grave error. Mr. Uhuru you proved that all is in your mind is just to lead but not good governance.

Mr. Kenyatta was a failure in KANU 2002 election, he was likewise a failure in ODM presidential nomination. He has betrayed not only the ODM, but also his his own paty, KANU, I applaud staunch supporter of ODM like William Ruto and Musalia Mudavadi, this people accepted defeat and joined hands for the welbeing of the country. They did not let their selfish ego blurr them from seeing the big picture of the country.

Kalanzo Musioka is better compared to Uhuru Kenyatta, I applaud Kalonzo. Even after disagreeing with the ODM, he maintained his ground, this is our future president after ODM takes office. Electing Mr. Kenyatta is suicidal, the man is unpredictable and tribalistic. Thank you Kenya for eliminating this man.
