Did she?

As she does on my altar, lay bare her soul,

Fall on her knees and with her hair clean his feet?

Did she look up to the one above and on his trumpet, blow

Such a blasphemous melody, that the clouds swelled dark

With rain on the bluest day, happily flooding the thirsting earth?

What of when the two universes collided...?

At that moment when all ceases to be, did I cease to be?

Or did she see flashes of me (as one would in a near-death experience)?

And in that chaos as matter shattered (when nothing else matters);

Did she - as a swimmer fighting a furious current

Wraps himself round a branch on the bank - cling to him for life?
