I'm not feeling you barackPosted by Stephen Wanyama in Untagged |

As others plot to build airports and rename secondary schools in your honour (brief clip I saw of Senator Obama high school in Kogelo), i will be looking Tuesday to ignore the Obama lovefest, when as I hope he wins.
There was this friend in high School who derided what he called Utu Umati , or following the crowd. I never was one for utu umati and this influences me in a direction far more critical of Obama than most.
A few gripes,
a) Obama and the US military
b) Obama and Afghanistan
c)Obama and Jerusalem
d) Obama and abortion
e) Obama and homosexuals
f) Obama and accounting
okay, McCain is worse, far worse (remember pat buchanan insisting that a president Mccain would make Cheney look lke Gandhi? I admit Obama must pander to a backward people, but still......, some of this is unnecessary.
Now about McCain, here is a beautiful graphic.

But last time i checked we're not eligible to vote?!
(BTW, that undefined obama 'change' thing, does it remind you of something?)
With that sort of attitude, my friends, a stand-up comedian would have the audience weeping in minutes.
This is the sort of talk that could lose us the election. Whilst Obama exhorts the Nation to go out and vote, "...take your friends and tell your neighbours.." we have here people talking of sitting on fences or standing by the sidelines.
The author draws up a shopping list of Obama's shortcomings just before the wedding day....and then tells us that McCain is worse. Please don't confuse the swing voter.
As for the bystanders, stop wasting time complaining and go cast your vote. I expect that if by bad luck McCain wins you would still be complaining. Whilst real people across America and the wider world are demanding real and meaningful change we have others standing by the road-side peddling doom and gloom and waiting for that most elusive of all of God's creations ......the perfect politician. Wake up.
- I ended up witnessing a family member decapitated and dismembered right before my very eyes, thats how come I swore to keep away from politics at least until my PTSD symptoms get better. Thats all Jaya... I am genuinely super happy that OBAMA has made history as 1st Black US President!! The victory is actually a double and triple joyous occasion for KENYA. Plus all AFRICANS in general are super happy!! OBAMA has given people hope for sure!! So its ok to relax and party like its 1699!!! I know am screaming louder than anyone in my hood right now... lol!
ONE LOVE-:
This victory is a victory too for those who dare to hope....
